Ricardas Montvila hat ein Firefox-Plugin entwickelt, über das sich jeder E-Mail Marketer freuen dürfte: Der HTML Email Analyzer prüft den Quelltext von Newslettern im Hinblick auf mögliche Darstellungs- und False Positive-Probleme.
Ich habe mir das Plugin noch nicht im Detail angeschaut, die Features sind aber vielversprechend:
- Checks for common Spam Keywords
- Checks for possible CSS problems
- Checks the width of the email
- Checks the Text:Image Ratio
- Checks whether email starts with text rather than image
- Checks the Email size
- Checks if contains GIF animations
- Checks if the landing page URL contains SPAM keywords
- Checks if all images have an ALT attribute
- Checks for any excessive use of CAPITAL LETTERS
- Checks for hidden text
- Checks whether there is a call to action within the top part of the email
- Validates the Email for W3C Standard
- Adjustable vertical and horizontal preview boxes

Hm,
läuft leider noch nicht mit dem Firefox 3.5,
war wohl wieder zu schnell.
Das Plugin wurde gerade aktulisiert – jetzt läuft es auch unter Firefox 3.5 (gerade getestet)
